The Nebraska FFA Foundation Local Grant Program provides funding for local agriculture classrooms, FFA programs and individual students Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) (grades 7th-11th) or School-Based Enterprise SAE which have a clearly defined and described financial need. Grant request may be any amount up to $10,000 for agriculture classrooms and FFA programs, and $2,000 for student SAE's. The grant application period will be open until June 30, 2023. All work on grants will occur during the school year. Grant funding will be awarded after documentation is completed. School-based enterprise SAE programs must have been part of the Nebraska Launch!, and funds should be used towards expansions for your SBE.
Student entrepreneurship and school-based enterprise SAE grants will not require a 1:1 match.
Classroom and FFA program grants must have a 1:1 match (example: Nebraska FFA Chapter receives $3,000 from the Nebraska FFA Foundation grant and $3,000 from school district) through one or more of the following:
