The launch of the Weeping Water agricultural education program was a bumpy one. While teacher Krystl Knabe was fighting a personal health battle, a grant from the Nebraska FFA Foundation and the generosity of our donors ensured her students’ education never missed a beat.

Knabe's vision was to connect students with the heartbeat of their community and the hundreds of exciting careers in agriculture. Through hands-on experiences and partnerships, students explored options they'd never considered before, seeing themselves as the next generation of leaders. Students are dreaming about careers as agronomists, marketers, engineers, business owners, and more!
