The Wisner-Pilger FFA Chapter has been a long-time participant in the I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign, dating back to its founding 13 years ago. They believe the program is a great way for their community to support their future agriculture leaders.
Their chapter uses the funds for chapter expenses including contest fees, convention expenses, and conference registrations that support their 80 members. Students advertise the campaign during their labor auction and write thank-you letters to sponsors. They include their sponsors in their Christmas card mailing too.
“We are thankful for all the people who make the I Believe in the Future of Ag Campaign possible for FFA chapters around the state. Our students have greatly benefited from our community’s generosity and confidence in the agriculture industry,” shared advisor, Wade Overturf.
The I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign supports local FFA chapters through the generous contributions of sponsors. Students, like those at Wisner-Pilger, are granted opportunities that support learning and leadership development because of their participation.
