Programs We Support

While our mission is to enhance quality education and FFA programs in Nebraska, we've broken down our programs into five main categories.

  1. Leadership Programming

The Nebraska FFA Association strives to provide quality leadership programs for local FFA members, chapter officers and state FFA officers. These high-energy programs occur throughout the year and provide members with a way to learn leadership skills and put them into practice.

  2. Awards & Recognition

FFA members are working year-round in the classroom, on their Supervised Agricultural Experiences and FFA projects and finally receive recognition at State FFA Convention each year. Around 150 award areas are presented to students, advisors and chapters each year recognizing them for career development events, leadership skills events, proficiency areas, state degrees and chapter awards are among those given out.

  3. Nebraska FFA State Convention

Every spring, over 7,000 members and guests gather to celebrate another year of successes and growth in our FFA members. Held in Lincoln, the Nebraska FFA State Convention is home to many competitive events, leadership workshops, a career fair and expo and many other recognition events for our student leaders.

  4. Local Chapter Programs

We understand that our local FFA chapters have unique needs in their community. Whether it's a local community service project, an officer retreat, growing their membership or construction of a new facility for their classroom, we've developed ways to support them through I Believe in the Future of Ag and local chapter grant programs.

  5. Agriculture Teacher Activities

With a record high of over 200 agriculture education programs in Nebraska, supporting this group of talented individuals couldn't be more important! We recognize the need to support professional development opportunities for our teachers.
