The Nebraska FFA Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the Foundation Board are:
Gary Brandt – Hastings
Eric Dam – Aurora
Jeremy Hinrichs – Bruning
Emily Johnson – Holdrege
These leaders join the board at a critical time to help expand awareness and financial backing for agricultural education across Nebraska. In their new roles, they will serve as advisors to the Foundation’s Executive Director and staff, helping to implement the organization's strategic plan.
"We are thrilled to welcome Gary, Eric, Jeremy, and Emily to our leadership team," says Stacey Agnew, Executive Director of the Nebraska FFA Foundation. "Each of these individuals brings a deep passion for agriculture and a unique set of skills that will help us drive sustainable funding for Nebraska FFA and agriculture education. In Nebraska, agriculture is the heartbeat of our rural communities, and our mission is all about helping young people find a place where they belong. With their guidance, we are well-positioned to expand our reach and cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders.”
The volunteer Board of Directors oversees organizational health and growth through several core duties. Their responsibilities include approving the annual budget, reviewing audit reports, overseeing major business decisions, and serving on specialized committees. A core focus of their service will be actively engaging in fundraising efforts to support Nebraska FFA programs, supporting the mission of the Nebraska FFA Foundation to grow leaders, build communities and create career connections.
