Many people think that kids these days aren’t prepared to take over leadership roles in their community. They have this perception that people in that generation are not motivated to get involved or that they don’t know what they’re doing.
I think you will agree with me when I say that there continues to be a huge need for people to step up and say, "YES" to being a leader and following through with that commitment.
One of the most amazing aspects of agricultural education and FFA is the mutually beneficial relationship that exists between the ag ed program, the FFA chapter and the community. Through that relationship, FFA members understand the importance of leadership and service to their local communities.
