New Application Process for 2024: You as the FFA Advisor only submit the application for the student. The student will need to provide you with a paragraph statement for you to copy and paste below in the designated area. Student question, "How would receiving an FFA jacket impact you?" We reached out to several teachers for their feedback on the application, and we ultimately decided to have the teacher submit everything that way you know the student submitted a great answer for their portion, most students are younger and didn't have answers to most of the questions in the past and you as the teacher can better set your deadline of when you want to get these all submitted that way no one is having a student submit an application at 11:00 pm.
- The purpose of this program is to provide members with the opportunity to earn a new FFA jacket.
- The event is open to all agricultural education students who are active members of a chartered FFA chapter in good standing with the Nebraska FFA Association with all dues paid. The number of winners will be based on the number of jackets sponsored and jacket recipients must understand that if he/she quits FFA, the FFA jacket must stay with the local FFA chapter and should be returned to the local advisor.
- A gift card code will be purchased by the Nebraska FFA Foundation from the National FFA Organization and supplied to the local agriculture instructor to purchase the jacket for the recipient FFA member.
- A selection committee will include past state officers, Foundation board members and contributors to the jacket program.
- All applications must be submitted by September 15, 2024 to be considered.
- Recipients will be announced by October 15.
