FFA played a big part in Colton’s future because it gave him opportunities to network with individuals and organizations while also learning about agriculture. Colton was a Nebraska State FFA officer in 2015-16. He graduated from UNL in May 2017 with a degree in Agricultural Education - Leadership and now works for the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) in Washington D.C. Colton is the Legislative Assistant on the Public Policy Team.

The West Holt FFA Chapter is hard at work raising funds through the I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign. They plan to use some of their I Believe funds towards purchasing FFA jackets for 8th grade members to borrow.

Pathways to Careers Conference (P2C) gave FFA members ideas of possible career choices in agribusiness systems, animal systems, environmental service systems, natural resource systems, plant systems and power, structural and technical systems.
Lydia Vinton is the 2017-18 Nebraska FFA State Secretary. She is from Arthur, Nebraska and was in the Mullen FFA Chapter. She is currently at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln majoring in Plant Biology with plans to become a genetic engineer to improve food security.
The Lakeview FFA chapter has begun their fundraising for community service projects, leadership and field trip plans.
Constellation participates in the Choice Gas program in Nebraska- a program that allows homeowners, businesses, farmers, and ranchers to choose their natural gas supplier each year. They serve 60 counties in Nebraska. Constellation is providing over $17,000 to support FFA in their service area.
